First Aid Level 1 IRS
The training to achieve First Aid Level 1 IRS should enable everyone to provide first aid (first general measures in an emergency situation, including BLS-AED).
It should be possible to provide first aid on the street, at work, during leisure and sport, at home, in the army and in disaster relief.
- Get an overview of the event
- Alert correctly
- Pay attention to their own safety
- Assess, monitor and care for the patient
- Correctly apply the basic skills of BLS resuscitation including the use of the AED
- Know their own limits
Target group
Employees of companies and institutions who take on supporting functions in the companys first aid service or as first responder. People who wish to attend First Aid Level 2 IRS courses at a later date.

Costs
CHF 695 including course materials, respiratory mask, certificates, refreshments during breaks and lunch
Duration
2 days / 08:15 - 17:00 (8:15am. – 5pm.)
Note: the course must be attended in its entirety and cannot be split up
Confirmation
Graduates who complete the course receive:
First Aid Level 1 IRS certificate, Emergency Aid certificate for driving license applicants and BLS-AED-SRC certificate.
The certificates are valid for two years.
